Right to a Written Contract
You are entitled to a written service agreement that clearly states the terms, price, duration, and cancellation policy before you commit.
Right to Accurate Billing
Charges must reflect your contract. You have the right to dispute any charge you believe is incorrect and receive a full explanation.
Right to Minimum Service Quality
Providers must deliver the minimum service standards set by BOCRA. You can check Quality of Service data published on this site.
Right to Number Portability
You may keep your phone number when switching providers. The process must be completed within the regulatory timeframe.
Right to Complaint Resolution
Every complaint submitted to a provider must receive a response within the prescribed timeframe. If unresolved, you may escalate to BOCRA.
Right to Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data must be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Providers may not share your data without consent.
Right to Fair Treatment
Providers cannot discriminate in the provision of services based on gender, race, religion, location, or disability.
